7 Crockpot Meatball Recipes for Every Occasion
Meatballs might be one of the easiest things to cook in a crockpot! They don’t dry out, they soak up whatever sauce you throw at them, and they work just as well spooned over mashed potatoes as they do with cocktail sticks at a party. I firmly believe that having a few reliable recipes up your sleeve will make life easier!
This roundup has a bit of everything, from cozy family dinners to sticky game day appetizers. Some are rich and creamy, some are sweet and tangy, and some are completely over the top in the best possible way. Whichever you choose, the slow cooker does most of the work so they’re super easy.
Crockpot Korean BBQ Meatballs

These Korean BBQ meatballs are sweet, sticky, a little spicy, and couldn’t be much easier to make. Using ready-made meatballs keeps the prep to a minimum, while the gochujang-based sauce does all the heavy lifting. Serve them over rice for dinner, or stick in a few cocktail picks and they’re just as good for game day.
Crockpot Mexican Meatballs

If you’re after maximum flavour with minimum effort, these Mexican meatballs are the one to try. With just four ingredients, they’re one of those recipes you can throw together in minutes and let the slow cooker take care of the rest. Serve them over rice, tuck them into tacos, or keep them warm for an easy party appetizer.
Crockpot Sweet & Sour Meatballs

These sweet and sour meatballs strike the perfect balance between sticky, sweet, and tangy. The pineapple BBQ sauce is packed with garlic and soy sauce, giving every meatball plenty of flavour while the slow cooker does all the work.
Crockpot Cherry Cola BBQ Meatballs

These cherry cola BBQ meatballs are a fun throwback that’s guaranteed to get people talking! The cherry cola cooks down into a rich, sticky barbecue sauce that’s sweet, smoky, and perfect for coating every meatball. Set the crockpot to warm, hand out some cocktail sticks, and watch them disappear.
Crockpot Swedish Meatballs

These slow cooker Swedish meatballs are comfort food at its best. The meatballs simmer away in a rich, creamy sauce made from simple pantry staples, making them an easy dinner with very little hands-on work. Serve them over buttery mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice for a meal the whole family will happily tuck into.
Crockpot Cranberry Meatballs

These cranberry meatballs are one of my favorite recipes to pull out during the holidays. Frozen meatballs simmer in a sweet and tangy cranberry BBQ sauce until they’re perfectly glazed, then a handful of fresh cranberries adds a festive finishing touch. They’re ideal for Christmas parties, buffet tables, or anytime you need an easy appetizer for a crowd.

Crockpot Root Beer Meatballs

Don’t let the root beer put you off – these meatballs really do work! As they cook, the soda reduces into a rich, sticky sauce that’s sweet, tangy, and surprisingly balanced. If you’re bored of making the same meatball recipes over and over, this is a fun one to surprise your guests with.
