About
Good food doesn’t have to be complicated.
At Scoop & Sprinkle, you’ll find approachable recipes for busy weeknights, slow cooker favorites, cozy family dinners, homemade treats, and food that brings people together.
I started this site after 10+ years of working as a professional food writer and recipe creator, but my cooking style really changed once life got busier and family became the center of everything. These days, I care less about complicated techniques and more about recipes that are practical, reliable, and genuinely worth making again.
Around here, you’ll find everything from comforting crockpot dinners and easy meal ideas to Ninja Creami recipes, hosting inspiration, and simple desserts that feel a little special without requiring a sink full of dishes afterward.
Every recipe is created with real life in mind:
– straightforward ingredients
– realistic cooking times
– approachable instructions
– and plenty of flexibility for imperfect weeknights!
I also believe food should feel fun, not stressful. Some days that looks like a cozy slow cooker dinner. Other days it’s homemade ice cream, game day snacks, or a table full of easy party food shared with family and friends.
When I’m not testing recipes, you’ll usually find me juggling mom life, chasing a toddler around the kitchen, or trying to photograph dinner before everyone gets hungry enough to start eating it.
