How To Make Easter Carrot Treat Bags!

Learn how to make cute Easter carrot treat bags for your egg hunts, parties, and family gatherings over the holiday weekend! These Easter favors are a quick and super easy choice for Easter baskets, or when you’re looking for an activity to try out with little ones. My preschooler loves being in charge of pouring the candies into the bags, and older kids could quickly have a production line going to create gifts for school friends and family. Even if you’re convinced you’re ‘not very crafty’ – this is a project that’s totally beginner friendly, and I promise you can create super impressive results with minimal effort!

Step-by-Step Instructions for Making These Easter Carrot Treat Bags

There’s a printable instruction card at the bottom of this post – feel free to use it for classroom projects or for an Easter crafts DIY party!

  1. Take a cone shaped bag, and fill with orange Reese’s Pieces or a similar orange colored candy of your choice.
  2. Tie the tops with a green ribbon, and trim the ends. You can tie the ribbon in a bow, if you like, or just use a standard double knot. Trimming the ends at an angle or into a V shape helps them to look a little more polished and professional, especially if you have plans to sell these at a bake sale or a similar event!
  3. Trim the tops of the bags if they’re a little too long.

That’s it, you’re done! Like I said, these cute Easter treat bags are amongst the easiest crafts you’ll ever try, and it’s pretty much impossible to make a mistake or get them wrong!

If you like, you can of course customize these bags. Use different candies or a mix of your favorites, or hide a few toys or special surprises in amongst them.
