Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Homemade White Chocolate Syrup
- 1 cup white chocolate chips high-quality or sugar-free, if you prefer
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk adjust for thickness
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Iced White Chocolate Mocha
- 1 cup brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee cooled
- 1/2 cup milk your choice: almond, oat, dairy, etc.
- 2-3 tablespoons homemade white chocolate syrup adjust to taste
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream optional, for topping
- Chocolate shavings or white chocolate chips optional, for garnish
Make the Homemade White Chocolate Syrup
In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream or milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
Allow the syrup to cool slightly; it will thicken as it cools.
Prepare the Iced White Chocolate Mocha
Prepare your espresso or strong brewed coffee and let it cool.
In a glass filled with ice , combine the cooled espresso with 2-3 tablespoons of the homemade white chocolate syrup. Stir well.
Pour in your choice of milk and mix until combined.
If desired, add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.
Sprinkle chocolate shavings or a few white chocolate chips and white chocolate sauce on top, if you like.
